Welcome to Life as I Know It - a collection of my random writings, traveling adventures and stories of our time in Germany and beyond. We moved to southwest Deutschland in February, 2012 for Derek's job (my husband), and returned home at the end of January, 2013. Although this blog was used mainly as a place to share my German experiences, I will continue to update it about our life in Indianapolis. There's always something new to explore and discover.
A little background of me: I've worked in marketing for about five years. I studied public relations, advertising and Spanish at Butler University in Indianapolis and studied in Sevilla, Spain for a semester. I worked in marketing for a year and a half after college graduation, and while living in Germany, I worked for a study abroad office where I contributed to the development of new programs, special projects and learned the German culture along the way. I now do in-house marketing for a marketing company here in Indianapolis.
I love hot yoga, craft beer & pinot noir, hosting dinner parties, a good DIY project, trying new recipes, and exploring the city through hikes, walks and bike rides. I love to grab coffee with new friends, so please feel free to connect! Reach me here: courtney.logel@gmail.com
